This is the run on Uncanny that stopped me from buying comics for a few years. I had purchased every new issue of Uncanny from #171 until Chuck Austen's run and this brought me to a dead stop.
ReplyDelete*LOL* I don't mind it... so far. I do have a problem with there being no Gambit in it. *sad*
ReplyDeleteIf you haven't run into it yet, there's some Gambit action coming in X-Treme. At the time, X-treme, of all comics, was my bastion for "real" X-men comics. Uncanny was mired in Austen's stupidity and Grant Morrison's undeniably brilliant but, to me, soulless, run on New X-Men.
